At the end of the VFL Home and Away season, the Seagulls have finished in third spot on the Peter Jackson VFL ladder with Port Melbourne and Footscray taking first and second spots and thus earning the right to host a home qualifying final.
AFL Victoria have sanctioned the game at the Whitten Oval and the ground will be fenced this Sunday and all people attending will have to pay the normal admission price to attend VFL Finals (see below). It is anticipated that between 6000 – 10000 people will be in attendance and there will be 3 entry gates around the ground. The Western Bulldogs Football Club have advised supporters wishing to attend, to pre-purchase their tickets. This can be done by clicking here. The bonus for Williamstown members and supporters is that both our Senior and Development side are playing at Whitten Oval this Sunday and we advise everybody to get to the ground early to avoid issues with gaining admission on the day.
