Seniors
Another good win from a team that is showing real class. While still not having played four full quarters of good football, when this team turns it on, it looks very good. Mitch Turnball had another good game and continues to show he can play forward, back and as an onballer. Riak Riak was back in the team and added some much needed height. Reece Miles and Lee Spiteri are giving the team run all over the ground. Travis Lunardi is just strating to find form and is looking more dangerous each week.
While this is a great result, the real test will be next week agains the competion benchmark, Spotswood.

U18A
Having played only 2 games in the first 4 weeks, the boys badly needed this run. Accroding to coach Nick Waddell it was a good win, but the team still has a lot of improvement. One great aspect to come out of the game is the form of the 1st year players Hayden Azzopardi, Kelly Pickard, Jack Marlais and Adam Mutton.

A difficult task with only 18 players, the job was made even more difficult when 2 players were injured in the warm up. Once again everyone in the team showed great heart to fight out a tough game. Great to see Tyler Fiteni starting to get back the form he had last year.

Senior Women
This loss was a bit of a shock to the team. Lalor got out to a lead early and Altona could never get it back. Played on a soft ground Lalor showed they could handle these conditions a lot better at this early stage of the season. The team have promised that they will use this loss to ensure they improve for league leaders, Bendigo, next week.
