The Muswellbrook Under 18's will line up against there nemeisis of 2014 Denman when they make the trekk to Greta Branxton oval this Sunday to contest the Grandfinal. First Grade

After a sluggish first half where the Singleton side had a mountain of possession and were able to put points on the board to only trail 16-12 at the break. A halftime blast from the coaching staff saw a different Rams return to the field and runaway with the game in the second stanza to win comfortably 40-16.more

The Rams travelled to Greta last Sunday to play the Colts in all 4 grades on a day best described as wintery .

The First grade had it all to play for but a second half collapse ruined any chance of a win, in a game which Muswellbrook looked comfortable in the first half and went to the break, down 16-12, but in the second half our defence was sadly notmore

On Saturday night the Rams held their Annual Pink Jumper match to coincide with the Women in League round, with the First Grade wearing a once only design. They did not let the Rams faithful down with a steady but convincing 40 to 12 victory over Aberdeen. The Rams were on the road for Round 3 against Aberdeen last Saturday.

The first game was the ladies league and once again the Ramettes continued on their winning way with a convincing 46-0 victory. The star of the victory was Brittany Wheeler-Smith and she was well supported by Brydie Parker and Toni Boney.

The Rams Four Grades Played their First Home Game of the Season on Saturday 5th April against the Denman Devils

In the First Grade the Rams had a 24 all draw with Denman. The Rams controlled the game for long periods in the first half but could only take a 12-8 lead in at the break. With Nathan Berry’s kicking game turning the devils around the Rams capitalized with tries to Jacobe Dowell and Jmore

2013 Grandfinalist decided

Muswellbrook under 18's will take on the Scone Thoroughbreds after they won through to the big one with a narrow victory over Minor Premiers Singleton. Scone were able to hold off a fast finishing Singleton who scored on the bell to narrow the gap to 2 points. Scone running out winners 30-28more

14/07/2012 Old Boys Day Success Rams Win 3 Grades

A large crowd turned out to see Muswellbrook keep their semi-final hopes alive with an emphatic victory over the competition front runners Denman 40-26. The Robson Rams were in control from the start and had Denman scrambling to hold on. Against the run of play Denman opened the scoring out wide when winger Ben Holden went over in the corner in the 4th minute.more

A small crowd were treated to some good rugby league on Sunday as the Rams took on Singleton in First grade and under 18’s. In first Grade Muswellbrook suffered a big defeat in the end after going in at halftime 16-16.more

16/06/2012 Rams Successful In Women of League Game

Saturday saw the return of Coach Smith who has been missing for around five weeks and it seemed to have the desired affect on the Robson Rams as they defeated the out of sorts Thoroughbreds. Muswellbrook were in control from the kick off and went straight on the attack to open the scoring in the 4th minute when front rower Liam Dunn crashed over just wide of the post and with the conversion the Rams were in front 6-0.more

26/05/2012 Rams Downed by competition leaders

The Robson Civil Rams made the short trek to Devil country on Saturday to take on the competition leaders. The game started well for Muswellbrook and they were controlling play camping down in the Devils half for the first 12 minutes when a pushed passed and dropped ball gave the Devils there first chance, when Tyson Bruns jumped on the loose ball to raced 55m down field to score the opening try of the game.more

A small crowd were on hand to witness the Rams winning all three grades when they took on Greta-Branxton colts at Muswellbrook’s Olympic Park. The was 8 minutes old when the Greta-Branxton opened the scoring with a try to Ben Murray under the posts and converted by Matt hunter the colts were up 0-6.more

The game started poorly for the Robson Civil Rams from the first set of six a bomb was launched from near the half way and was allowed to bounce, Singleton’s Bayden Mulholland regathered and raced away into the corner to open the scoring in the first minute of play.more

The Eaton Hotel Rams traveled to Scone on Sunday to do battle with the Thoroughbreds on their home ground. The small crowd was entertained right to the last minute. Scone started the game full of running and dominated the first 15 minutes; only dropped passes and scrambling defence from the Robson Civil rams kept the scores 0-0.more

This game started strongly with both the Eaton Hotel Rams and the Aberdeen tigers went toe to toe in the first half as play went from one end to the other. Scrambling defence from both sides kept the score at 0-0 until the 26 minute when finally the defence of the Robsons Civil Rams cracked and the tigers opened the scoring in the 26th minute.more

A large crowd was on hand to see the Rams take on the Devils, this game lived up to expectations with tough hard defence from both sides keeping the first half tight as play went from one end to the other. When one team looked like scoring, great scrambling defence came in to stop the attacker in his tracks.more

14 Jan, 2011 Rams' resurgence building

MUSWELLBROOK Rams have completed the signing of another top grade player as they rebuild their playing strength for the 2011 Group 21 first grade competition.

The Rams, G21 first grade wooden spooners the past few seasons, signed on Nathan Blacklock as captain-coach late last year as well as luring former Brisbane Broncos, Queensland and Australian prop, Shane Webcke, out of retirement for a couple of “guest games”.more

The Muswellbrook Rams kicked off their 2008 season by announcing Shane Renshall and Simon Harmer as joint coaches for the upcoming season on Sunday.

Both players have played for Muswellbrook since they were five-years-old and now have the opportunity to coach at the top grade.more

Rams on the move! Announcing Coach for 2013

Muswellbrook Rams have been busy in the off season working hard on securing a new coach after the departure of successful 2012 coach Eric Smith to Tumut as a non-playing coach. The club has secured the services of Marcus Bower who played for the club this season at five-eight. Marcus proved to be a leader on the field and brings a lot of experience to the club. With the Rams surprising Grand Finalists in 2012 where a loss in the final round could have left the club as wooden spooners, the club will again be looking to continue the rebuilding and working hard to be in the big end of season games in season 2013.more
