Hornets Mothers Day Tribute & Round 5 Draw

Chester Hill Hornets

The U13D1 Chester Hill v St Johns match at the Terry Lamb Complex has been pushed back to 2.30pm to accomodate a special 'Mothers Day' tribute, promotion and raffle to celebrate all the mothers present at the ground and within the club. The Mum's in the game play a very special role in the game.

Prior to the U13D1 game the club will observe a moments silence for the passing of the grandfather of Christian, Jordan & Brandon Wakeham, who was also a regular attender and vocal supporter at his grandson's matches.

On top of the Mothers Day special there will be seven matches at Terry Lamb Complex this Saturday starting at 9am and concluding around 3pm. Any help that parents and supporters can give - even for 30 minutes is much appreciated.

We need to show the Junior League that we're a club moving forward and a club that can host Saturday night matches, Sunday matches and the big matches. See Adam Williams at the ground on Saturday to see where you can provide assistance.

The 16/1's play on Sunday at Beverly Hills Park against defending premiers, competition favourites and virtually the St George Harold Matthews sqiad in Kingsgrove Colts with kick off at 12.10pm. The side has won their two matches convincingly, but this Sunday will be a stern test for the side. All the pro-Cheso support is required to help cheer on our only senior side. Please wear club colours and make Beverly Hills Park feel like home for the team.

The Rugby League Code of Conduct provides all participants - players, parents, coaches, referees, spectators and officials - with some simple rules that assist in delivering a safe and positive environment to everyone involved in the game. CLICK HERE to read the updated 2012 Code of Conduct.

No players or officials at games in the Canterbury-Bankstown District (all ages) are to approach the referee or official touch judges before, during or after the game - even to shake hands of thanks. Any questions about rule
interpretations *during* a match can be made through the captain. Should you have any questions or even compliments of the referee please speak to or put in writing to Adam Williams who will pass it onto the appropriate authorities.

Strictly NO trainers, coaches or managers are to enter the field of play when a fight breaks out - please leave it to the referee and players to sort out - don't even contemplate entering the field or taking the law into your own hands. If the trainer is already on the field please leave for your own protection. Long suspensions are a possibility for non-players and bench players getting involved in a fight.
Google maps of all venues are easily available by clicking on the ground.
