Lions Roar in WA and Australian Rep Honours

Congrtulations to the WA state team that went away last weekend for the Senior Affiliated States tournament played in Adelaide. South Perth players made up 13 of the 20 man state team aswell as the coach. WA won the tournament with a come from behind win against Northern Territory in the final.

The national Affiliated side selectors then chose a 20 man combined Australian team to travel to the Cook Islands at the end of the 2005 season. WA had 10 players chosen in the national squad with seven of them coming from South Perth and Korny was also selected to coach the side. We would like congratulate all of our players on a successful tournament. Well Done Boys!
