Thanks Stony Creek for another great game. It was good to test out some different combinations against good opposition as we march towards finals now. The girls took awhile to adjust, but persevered, and to their credit stole the game in the final minutes with great determination. Still lots to work on, however pleasing to see the girls applying training to their game. Well done Renee and Janelle for fantastic games. With a few absences this week, we have another great opportunity to try different plays against the top side. Work hard girls and enjoy. GO IK

Great game today against tough Stony Creek opposition, there were some lovely passages of play and there may even have been a couple of long bombs … Sorry Rach! Great goaling by our ever reliable shooters, special mention to Katherine this week. Crowy was working hard in defence to finally be rewarded with her first award for the year! It was nice to see both our defenders working hard on the things we worked on at training. Thanks again to our awesome under 17’s, Brooke, Tameka, Olivia and Courtney for stepping up again into our team, you girls are a pleasure to play with and it’s a nice feeling knowing we have such talented juniors that we can rely on when needed (which is most weeks)! Fingers crossed (pun intended!) that we have Liz back after the bye round, we certainly miss you on the court, I’m sure our support crew on the bench will miss your quick witted humour on the bench though! Tough match today against the Burra lets work hard and play for each other and the game will be ours, GO IK!

The sun came out for C grade today, dried off the courts and gave us the opportunity to debut our new club dresses, which according to U15 player Ella Sadler "feel like your playing in your jarmies". The whole team worked together this week, and showed our versatility with lots of positional changes. We showed persistence and patience in moving the ball out of defense and into our attacking zone. Great movement throughout the game with a good 4 quarter effort from all. Lets keep working hard towards our goals and continue to build. Well earned win today, and great to do it on our coaches birthday! Happy birthday Deb!

After a slow start the IK 17U girls were able to put together a solid team performance against a determined Stony Creek. With some absences IK was again able to show their versatility with a number of players performing strongly in new positions. A big thanks to our 15U players Rahni Mann and Lily Scott who both slotted in seamlessly. A solid hit-out before a big game against Korumburra Bena.

Was a slow game to start off with in the first half but after that we fired up a bit and utilised our turnovers. Defensive pressure was good all over the court and attacking was equally good. We have some improving to do, but altogether good game girls! Thanks for the game Stony. Go IK!!

A very slow and quiet start today. Although we had a strong presence, we still definitely weren't our best. As the rolled on we slowly kicked into gear with a 40- 0 lead at 3 quarter time. Changing things up in the fourth quarter, the girls got to experience the other end of the court. it was great to see you all laughing and having a go in unfamiliar positions. Well done!

Today the girls got to play in their long awaited new dresses. Everyone looked absolutely fantastic and by the sounds of it were extremely conformable. Thank you to Alex Scott and Staff in Inverloch who sponsored the netball club and enabled us to purchase these new dresses.
