Not too many Clubs can boost about better "Home Club" facilities than the Bombers and Fripp Oval.
We are coming close to the final stage of completion with the roof and tiling to be done.
Thanks to the Bears for helping with the project, its a credit to both clubs.

Last weekend six of Ballina's players travelled to Toowoomba to represent the Summerland AFL against Darling Downs AFL.
The Summerland team did struggle for players to make the trip. The Ballina and Lismore sides making a large part of the side, which was disappointing from the other two sides being that there were no other games on that weekend.
Even though the side was unable to put the best 22 to represent the league, the players that did play took the match seriously playing to their best ability but unfortunately the strong Darling Down’s side running over the Summerland AFL team by 170 points.
When the Summerland league did start to show what the league was capable of it was off the back of Ballina players stringing together some good footy but with the side having no depth the Darling Downs side ran away with the match.
Ballina would like to congratulate Captain Rory Redfern, Liam Stafford, Just Searle, Matthew Crump, Ben Messemaker and especially Mick Herkness who was awarded the Frank Reid Medal which is awarded to the Summerland AFL player's Best on ground.more
