Level 1 & Softball Community Coaching Course

MWSA are hosting a level 1 coaching course to coincide with the start of the summer season.  Details are as follows:

Date: Monday 19 September
Time: 6:00pm to 9:30pm
Place: Abbott Rd diamonds
Cost: $100 (WSC will pay for members)
Comments: Participants must be at least 14yrs old.
Registration: Email florastuart@bigpond.com with your name, club and contact number asap.


To save time on the night, please complete the following and bring along on the night:

1. Coaches code of conduct (see documents attached below);

2. Community Coach registration (see documents attached below - don’t worry about the payment section);

3. Online training Community Coaching General Principles (instructions below); and

4. Everyone over 16 years needs to complete the “Working with Children” check http://www.kids.nsw.gov.au/Working-with-children/New-Working-With-Children-Check/apply/-apply – please print certificate & bring along


Community Coaching General Principles
1. Go to www.ausport.gov.au or https://learning.ausport.gov.au/Auth/Login?ReturnUrl=%2f
2. On the right, under information for coaches title, click on EDUCATION & ACCREDITATION
3. Click on the tab to go to ONLINE COACHING COURSES
4. Scroll to the bottom and click on ASC ONLINE LEARNING PORTAL
5. Register / Login
6. Select Community Coaching General Principles & ENROL
7. Complete the 4 module course
8. Save & print certificate to bring

In addition to the completed paperwork, you will also need:

- Dinner - or eat before you come
- Pens, glove, bat
- to dress for action ie sports clothes

A minimum of 10 registrations are required to hold the course, so get your details in soon!
