Qld Country Team Selections U13 & U14 Boys
South West Queensland could be well represented in State Teams as the Thunder has a large contingent of players invited to trial for Queensland State Football Teams.
Following identification in weekly NPL games throughout the year, 11 Thunder Players have been selected to attend the U13 & U14 Boys Qld Country Selection Camp to be held in Townsville on 30th/31st Aug & 1st Sept.
U13- Reiley Mason; Will Orford; Joe Scott & Dan Weber
U14- Noah Brazier; Joshua Fanning; Alex Firman; Charles Miller; Emmanuel Philip; Bailey Salisbury & Jordan Tucker.
If they can impress in Townsville, these boys could form part of the Qld Country team in their age group to contest the Nationals to be held in Coffs Harbour during Sept School Holidays.
Regardless of how they go at trials, having 11 players selected to try out is a big success for the game in this region, given there will only be about 30 players in each group at the Trials.
Country Areas are South West Qld, Wide Bay, Central Qld, Mackay, North Qld & Far Nth Qld.
