Active Kids Voucher

 

School age Kids (18 and under) can recieve a $50 Voucher toward their sport. Shortland United is an ActiveKids registered provider.

To register your child and to receive your Voucher Code which can be used in the Registration process to save you $50.

 

We believe we are one of the Clubs with the cheapest registration fees in the area!

Shortland United Junior Football Club is a family oriented club and as such does not ask for exorbitant sums to participate. What we charge as a Club Component on top of association fees and referee fees goes completely toward player facilities. We rely on sponsorships, fundraising and committee/player/parent/volunteer help to provide a friendly and rewarding environment for our players, coaches and managers.

Please note that any child turning 5 (or younger) within the whole 2024 calendar year is eligible to play. We offer DISCOUNTS to Families where after the first child registration, every extra child gets 10% off. Please ask our Registrars. This applies in order of Cost e.g. First child is most expensive down to last child being least expensive. This applies to amount remaining outside Active Kids Voucher. 

We will also be offering a PAYMENT PLAN upon request. Please speak to our Treasurer. We envisage 3 or 4 payments were the final amount MUST be paid by end of February for Team Gradings or the player will not have a team and not be registered to play. There are minimum player numbers for a team. Where you are having hardships and your team is registered without your payment, please speak to our Treasurer for a confidential custom payment plan typically extending to before Round 1 before Easter.

For Payment Plans please speak to our Treasurer as soon as possible, ideally in January, so that your payments can be spread over a longer time period and hence be lesser. Whilst we understand it is costly to play and want to help and include you in our sport, we will not do so to the financial detriment of the club. We are not a bank and cannot afford to register players who have not paid. As you can see large fees must be paid to our Zone immediately upon your registration, as well as many ongoing ground costs, Council fee's, electrical bill's, referee's fees etc. We are here to help, come and speak with our Committee leaders.

  

The Registration Process

 

Step 1 - Register Online

All players are required to register online with PlayFootball.com.au. The process has been revamped and you should find it easier than ever.

Please go to www.playfootball.com.au. Online help can be found here.

Once you logged into your account and registered your interest with Shortland United Junior Football Club, please select your payment option. We now have online payments via Credit Card. Note you will be charged a transaction fee by the transaction provider. You can also pay Cash or Direct Debit as below.

Please note that players in a graded team 12's and upwards will need to upload Photo ID to My Football Club. Players cannot be registered or accepted to play without Photo ID.

 

PLEASE ENSURE WHERE YOU ARE RE-REGISTERING THAT YOU CHECK YOUR DETAILS ARE CORRECT, MOST IMPORTANTLY YOUR MOBILE NUMBER AND EMAIL SO YOU RECEIVE IMPORTANT UPDATES THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.

 

Step 2 - Attend Rego Days to make/confirm Payment

If required you can come and pay cash or tap-n-pay.  Rego's are in the the Club Room at lower Tuxford Park, 10 King Street Shortland. Should you be unable to register online or attend the Rego Days, please contact our Registrar and they will assist you however they can.

We will not be held responsible for payments that cannot be tracked but they will show up on our statement regardless and we will work with people to sort issues out where possible? Please print out and keep payment receipts and bring with you to Rego Day.

 

Step 3 - Participation

The Committee welcomes any Parent/Player who would like to assist in an official capacity as a Coach, Manager or Committee member. Although any help or assistance you can offer either just once or every home game would be greatly appreciated. We just ask for help with setup and pack-up of the fields on home games, fundraising, weekly Raffles at the Pub, social activities, help with cooking and selling on the BBQ or help in the canteen. We'd even be happy if you just came over to say Hello!

After all we are all volunteers doing this for free and for the progress of the club and players. Many hands make light work so lend a hand when you can.

For 2024 we are in dire need of volunteers and will be drawing up a roster to help out the small group of volunteers, keep an eye out.

Even if you just want to play or cheer for your kids team, Everyone is Welcome. Please watch this website for further information as it grows throughout the year and especially for our Social Events.
