Round 4
Coleraine Vs Westerns
The long trip down to Portland to play Westerns is always a danger game and we managed to come home with 2 wins and a draw this time.
SENIORS
The senior boys got away with one today, eventually pinching a draw despite being down by 13 points with 4 minutes to go.
After a solid start to the game, the Westerns boys dominated the play around the middle to have us in all sorts of bother before rallying just in time to take something home.
RESERVES
After 8 long years of having not beaten Westerns at Westerns, the Reserves showed that they are a team to be reckoned with by winning comfortably.
Some real quality play saw a nice result, but now we have a big game against Cavendish up there where we also haven't won for a long time.
A-Grade
Not quite the result the girls were hoping for but nonetheless it was a good effort against last years Runners Up and hopefully it will all come together for another win soon.
B-Grade
The girls put up a good fight against a quality team in Westerns, but unfortunately fell just short. We haven't been far away and a win is just around the corner.
C-Grade
Westerns were a bit strong for us today, but we are improving all the time and our 1st win for the year is coming soon.
Under 17's
The Under 17's ran into a very good Westerns side, and battling the heat a bit, were unable to get the win. Hopefully we can start getting on the winners list soon.
Under 15's
Oh so close for the girls !!
Searching for that elusive 1st win, the girls gave all they had but just went down to Westerns by 2 goals.
It's going to happen girls and it's going to be sweet, so keep in there !!
Under 13's
The girls put up a brilliant defensive effort to win well and keep the momentum they have built early in the season going.
This week we travel up to Cavendish and the action should be interesting !
