GAME DAY MANAGER (part-time fixed contract)

Albany United FC is seeking a suitable person for the role of Game Day Manager. This is a new role to the club that we wish to impliment for the 2017 season and beyond. 

 

About the role

In this role you will manage the operation in its entirety. Reporting directly to the club Director of Football your key responsibilities will include; ensuring our members and visitors get the highest level of service, set up and pack up of the midget and junior equipment on game day. You will also be responsible for the equipment itself and general operation functions. Managing equipment and schedules if required off site. Queries and game day management. The role requires commitment of Saturdays mornings to roughly midday and very minimal Sunday morning/afternoon work (possibility only at this time)

BAR MANAGER (part-time fixed contract)

Albany United FC is seeking a suitable person for the role of Bar Manager. With the great success we have had over the years, we wish to continue that success into the future.

 

About the role

In this role you will manage the operation in its entirety. Reporting directly to the club Board your key responsibilities will include; ensuring our members and visitors get the highest level of service, maintaining stock, people manage and maximising profit return. You will also be responsible for reconciliation, wages, timesheets and general operation functions. The club bar opens some week evenings and weekend afternoons/evenings.

 

Skills and Experience

The right person for this role will be a professional leader who possesses both a positive attitude and the following skills and experience:

  • A strong, dynamic and charismatic leader of people
  • Proven sales performance and targets achieved
  • Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal
  • Comfortable working with numbers at a management level
  • High level of time management and organization skills
  • A strong understanding of customer and market dynamics
  • Experience gained within the hospitality sector is a huge advantage but not essential
  • Either have or willing to gain a Bar Managers licence paid for by the club
