FRANK MARINI (U13) - I am married with three children and Monday to Friday I work as a sales representative for a hardware company. I grew up in the country and began playing competitive football when I was 7 years old. Injuries forced me to retire when I was 27. I am a one-eyed Collingwood supporter and I love to take the kids to the footy as often as I can when time allows. Since 2009 I have been associated with the Taylors Lakes Football Club when my eldest son began Auskick. I went on to be one of the Auskick coaches from 2011- 2013. In 2014 I took on a more challenging coaching role when I was appointed coach of one of the Under 10s teams. Both my boys played in that team and it was a great year with us making the finals. Since then I’ve coached both Under 10s and Under 12s making finals again this year. Being involved at club level gives me the greatest feeling and appreciation, not only for my family but all those involved in the background who help to make things run smoothly. Without their help and dedication we wouldn’t be able to do what we love and that is to watch our kids play football on Sunday. ‘See ball, get ball’.
