Working Better With Parents workshop

Office of Communities - Sport and Recreation would like to introduce you to the Working Better With Parents workshop.

The Working Better with Parents workshop is designed to provide volunteer coaches, team managers and teachers with various strategies and practical examples of maintaining a good relationship with the parents of players/athletes.

This workshop covers the various strategies on how to provide feedback to parents, educating parents about the philosophies of junior sport participation and how to deal with situations where their role and ability as a coach may be questioned.

A look at cultural awareness will also be covered in the workshop.

Address: Max Webber Library, corner Flushcombe Road and Alpha Street
When: Wednesday 14 November 2012
Time: 6:30pm to 8:30pm
Cost: Only $10 per person (normally $25) – places are limited.
