Registration for the 2021 Junior Club Competition is Now Open

Due to an increase in Basketball demand it is advised that you need to complete your Registration as soon as possible. Once Registrations reach 1200 players, across all clubs in total, any registration received after this will be placed on a waiting list, and the player will be contacted when a position becomes available.

Fees for the season will be $235 for all age groups.

 

Age Groups for the 2021 Competition

  •          Under 12s – born in 2010 & younger
  •          Under 14s – Born in 2008 & 2009
  •          Under 16s – Born in 2006 & 2007
  •          Under 18s – Born in 2004 & 2005
  •          Under 21s – Born between 2001 & 2003

 

Competition Dates

Competition Starts: Week beginning 19th April 2021

Semi Finals: Week beginning 6th September 2021

Grand Finals: Week beginning 13th September 2021

There will be no games scheduled between the 26/6 till 9/07 for the

July School Holidays.

 

Competition nights for each division will be similar to the 2020 season which were as follows;

Grading

At this stage Grading will be done for Division 1 Teams only. Division 1 Team Grading night will be held at Hunter Sports High School Monday 22nd March 2021. Date and Times will be confirmed.

All players will be invited, with their Coach and Manager, to come along to finalise teams, collect singlets, purchase shorts and shoot some hoops at Hunter Sports High School on Monday 29th March 2021. Date and Times will be confirmed.

To organise Teams we need All Players that are Registered need to indicate by email the following:

-Do you want to be considered for Division 1 team? and

-Are there friends that you would want to play with?

NEED SHORTS?

Playing Shorts are a compulsory part of your uniform. Shorts cost $35 and will be available for purchase at the Grading Nights – Monday 22 March and 29 March 2021.

Please note we can only accept Cash payment for shorts. Other merchandise is also available for cash purchase.

You can place orders by texting your name and size to our Shorts Contact - Nicole Kitchen 0412 288 605. Shorts then will be available for pick up and payment at the grading nights. Orders will need to be finalised prior to the commencement of the competition as limited stock is available.

 

COACHES and MANAGER VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Thank you to everyone who coached and managed a team in 2020. We will again be looking for Coaches and Managers for each of our Teams for the 2021 Basketball season.

 

Every Team must have a Coach and a Manager to be able to participate. Accordingly we NEED Parents to put up their hand up to volunteer to Coach and/or Manage their Child’s team. For Coaches, Basketball experience is an advantage but NOT a necessity. You will receive support and education.
