We are a domestic junior club based in the Patterson Lakes and Carrum area.  We have children from many surrounding suburbs that have got together, formed teams and are now playing in our club.  It's not 100% children though, we also have parents who have formed senior teams so if you are keen why not get a team together!

Club Philosophy

We have a very simple philosophy at the Lakers and that is we wish to offer a friendly and community based club that encourages paticipation in the great sport of Basketball.  We work hard to ensure that each player has a fun time every time they play a game.  We have a strong emphasis on team spirit and to do our best to make sure every player has equal playing time during a game.

We are a 100% volunteer organisation, so if you are dealing with any dedicated member of our management committee please remember they are volunteers who are giving up their time to help make the Lakers the best it can be.

Your Team Mangager and Coach are also volunteers so remember to say thanks now and then and to recognise the work that they are doing.

We see the Lakers as a domestic competition club that encourages players to try ourt basketball and we hope to see skills develop and improve as they play.  The most important factor is that the player enjoys all aspects of basketball and has fun!

We encourage any player to consider playing Representative basketball, if they would like to take the next step in competition level.  Most players/families generally play in either the Chelsea Gulls or Frankstion Blues competitions.
