Piggy visits Penrith kids

Former NRL player Mark Riddell recently visited a number of kids with disabilities at a Clinic held in Western Sydney’s Centrebet Stadium. Riddell, now working for the NRL as an ambassador, joined in on what was a fun day for a number of kids participating in a skills clinic on the main deck at Penrith!

The kids focused on a number of skills including passing, catching, try scoring and goal kicking as part of the Community Connections Program. A presentation was then held where Mark spoke about our game and how you can be included, no matter what your limits may be. All participants received a hat, water bottle, certificate and BBQ lunch all free of charge. A big thank you goes out to all the schools that attended, and also the volunteers who have come through the program putting into place the skills that they have learned.
