CRL U14 and U15 Country Championship Finals to kick-off in Cessnock this weekend

The best U14/15 Group sides from Regional New South Wales and Victoria will go head-to-head for the title of ‘Country Champions’ in three divisions (Cup, Plate and Trophy) at Cessnock Sportsground on Saturday, 1st July.

After successful Northern and Southern Zone matches in Forster-Tuncurry and Wollongong, the U14/15’s Country Championship Finals will see seven NSW Regional Groups represented, along with NRL Victoria whose participation in the Championships provides their players with an opportunity to play Representative football against quality opposition, whilst developing their skills and providing a pathway across Rugby League.

Illawarra will contest both the major U14 and 15 titles, with Newcastle and NRL Victoria also fielding both their U14 and 15’s sides on the day.

The Newcastle Knights and Wests Tigers Intrust Super Premiership match will take place at the conclusion of the U14/15 Country Championship Finals.
