Sam Williams puts Cooma Rovers through their paces

THE Cooma Rovers Development Camp was run on Saturday with some of town's most promising rugby league players put through their paces by former Cooma Colt and Canberra Raider halfback Sam Williams.

This camp is designed to improve the skills and knowledge of 15 to 18 year-old players through drills in fitness, ball skills, nutrition talks as well as the importance of behaviours on and off the field.

The Rovers Development Committee would like to thank their major sponsors. Without our major sponsors the camp would not be possible: Fortitude Physiotherapy, Thomo Contracting Firewood & Bull Dozer Hire, Cooma Colts, Cooma Stallions, Rovers, Aussie Hotel, and Cooma's Original Hotbake.

The committee and players would also like to say a big thank you to Sam Williams from the Canberra Raiders who gave up his time to share his football skills with the players putting them through various drills and sharing his experience and knowledge. The committee also thanked the players for their effort and commitment on the day.
