Illawarra Coal Illawarra & South Coast Group 7 Merged Competition Final Series 2014 Grand Finals

Grand Finals for the Illawarra Coal – Illawarra & South Coast Group 7 Merged Competition will be contested this Saturday September 6 at WIN Stadium. What is expected to be an exciting day of Junior Rugby League will kick off at 9.30am with the Under 13.2 game and conclude with the Under 16.1’s at 6.45am.

The Under 13.2 game will see minor premier Culburra up against third placed Shellharbour to commence the day’s contests.

Minor premiers in the Under 13.1’s, Warilla will take on major semi combatants Collegians to determine the title in this age group.

In the Under 14.2’s the second placed Stingrays, first team into the Grand Final, will battle with minor premier Wests.

Under 14.1 minor premiers, Wests, who will once again feature in this age group, competing against the third placed Albion Park Oak Flats team.

The Under 15.2 is the only competition where the minor premiers, Dapto, will not appear in the Grand Final. Second placed Berry and fourth placed Gerringong clash to determine the premier team.

Wests as Minor Premiers will contest the Under 15.1 game against the fourth placed Stingrays team.

Second placed Gerringong will clash with Minor Premier Shellharbour in the Under 16.2 division.

In the final game of the season, the Under 16.1’s, Kiama take on third placed Wests to decide the winner of our premier competition.

Furthermore, an exhibition game, kicking off at noon will feature a team from the Disability Trust, the Score Dragons, who take on the Thirroul Under 13.2’s in what was a fantastic initiative that saw these young people compete at local venues throughout our Junior Competition this season. This is a game not to be missed.
