Battle for semi-finals hots up

Peter Ford, Peter Cronin, Corey Mulhall, Lloyd Bowen and Nathan Ford all got across for the hosts while Dylan Morris and Tom Atkins both had doubles for the Knights. Jay Delaney also got across for the visitors with Joel Roberts’ three goals to Morris’ two proving the difference.
The Lions can sew up the minor premiership with a win over struggling Milton-Ulladulla next week ahead of a final round clash with Shellharbour.
Shellharbour and Jamberoo remain locked on 24 points in second and third with the Sharks maintaining a handy for and against advantage with a 68-4 win over Milton at Ron Costello Oval.

Jamberoo were handy winners at Kevin Walsh Oval with a Ben Barnard hat-trick helping them to a 30-16 win over Berry-Shoalhaven Heads. The Superoos face Port Kembla away and Albion Park-Oak Flats at home to finish the season.
Elsewhere, Warilla beat Albion Park-Oak Flats 32-14 at Centenary Field while Port Kembla beat Nowra-Bomaderry 44-38 in a high-scoring affair at Noel Mulligan Oval.
