East Coast Support Referee Pathways

The CRL East Coast Region conducted their second annual Referees Academy Camp, on the last weekend of October (29th / 30th) at Coffs Harbour.

The NRL Referees – Game Development Officer (Mr Tony Hardy) once again liaised, with all Referee Associations to ensure the best young match officials within the East Coast Region, receive an invitation to attend the Camp, which is held in conjunction with the CRL Referee Development Squad each year.

CRL East Coast Regional Area Manager (Kevin Hill), explained the intuitive is aimed at assisting the Region provide a more attractive & comprehensive pathway for all East Coast match officials, he also congratulated Mr Hardy, on the fantastic support provided by the NRL, which resulted in Mr Jared Maxwell (Current NRL Referee) and Mr Matt Jefferies (Rehab coordinator NRL Referees) attending & assisting with all sessions over the weekend Camp.

Mr Hardy believed all participants had certainly enjoyed & benefited enormously, from such a great weekend, and congratulated the CRL & the East Coast Region for investing in local match officials continued development & education.
