Opportunities for Girls playing Rugby League

CLUB FOOTY - Season 2012 has seen the continuation of an Under 15's Girls comp in Ipswich and the start of a new comp on the Gold Coast. With Brisbane's pre - season only just kicking off this weekend, we are hoping to have more than 12 Junior Rugby League based girls teams across the South East corner this year.

An Under 16's side will be selected for Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Ipswich & Gold Coast to play 2 exhibition games at teh QRL Junior State Carnival on the Sunshine Coast June 29 & 30.

HIGH SCHOOL FOOTY - Following the success of the Broncos Challenge in 2011 with 43 teams across 4 age groups, the Titans have come on board and will be hosting a Titans Challenge in Toowoomba to support the growth of the game in the South West and Darling Downs region.

PRIMARY SCHOOL FOOTY - Wide Bay will host the Innaugural Primary Girls Rugby League Carnival in September. The carnival will attract teams from the Gold Coast up to Mackay and will  be played in Hervey Bay. The Broncos Primary Challenge will be run seperated from the High School draw based on he team numbers we had in 2011.
