Memorandum of Understanding Announced

Steve Tierney, Chairman GBJRL Management Committee and Robin Jaggessar, Director, InTech Institute of Technology signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on 8 November which establishes InTech as the supplier of training scholarships for rugby league players in the greater Brisbane area.

Under the MOU, all players are eligible to apply for a scholarship, and those whose future employment prospects will be advanced through the scholarship are strongly encouraged to apply.  Applications from disadvantaged or at-risk rugby league players will be prioritised.  Application forms will be available from Junior Clubs.

Mr Jaggessar said he was proud to extend the partnership with Rugby League Brisbane, which commenced when InTech became Naming Rights sponsor of the 2017 Awards Presentation event.
