2017 Judiciary & Disciplinary Panel Members

Nominations are hereby called from any person interested in fulfilling the role of a Judiciary and/or Disciplinary Panel member for the 2017 season.

The primary responsibility of the Judiciary Tribunal is to hear those cases where a player has appealed the indicative penalty issued by the Match Review Committee following the player being dismissed from a match for misconduct.  When required the Judiciary Tribunal generally convenes on a Thursday evening in the League offices at 6.30pm.

The primary responsibility of the Disciplinary Tribunal is to hear those cases where a player/supporter/club official has breached the NRL Code of Conduct.

These are non-paid volunteer roles and ideally, those persons undertaking the role will not be associated with any particular club.  It is acknowledged however, that this is not always possible.

Any person interested in undertaking the role of a Judiciary and / or Disciplinary Tribunal member is requested to confirm their interest and availability by lodging a written application with the Manager Rugby League – Brisbane, s.mcnally@qrl.com.au no later than 5.00pm Thursday 24 November 2016.
