Central Highlands Announce 2017 Representative Appointments

The Central Highlands Rugby League have announced their coaching staff appointments for the 2017 representative season.

Ryan Nunan and RJ Stewart have been re-appointed to lead the Men’s and Under 20’s teams for a second year with a new face to lead the Central Highlands Women’s side.

Following the appointment of Alan McIndoe to the Central Crows Women’s side, Blackwater Crushettes coach Jay Denman has been appointed to take charge of the Women’s team.

Central Highlands Rugby League President Frank Lambley is confident the appointed staff will lead the teams to a very successful representative campaign in 2017.

“With the only change being Jay’s appointment to the Women’s side following Alan’s promotion, our appointments will provide stability and continuity for our players,” Lambley said.

“Last season we took big steps with all three teams and this year’s appointments should set us up for a more successful year with most players indicating they are looking forward to representing the Central Highlands again.”

The Men’s and Women’s teams will compete at the 2017 QRL Central Division 47th Battalion carnival on Friday 28th – Sunday 30th April 2017 in Yeppoon.

The Under 20’s team will compete at the 2017 QRL Central Division Under 20’s carnival in early July 2017.
