Cowboys celebrate season's successes

The Emerald Cowboys held their annual presentation night on Saturday night to celebrate the 2016 season.

In a fairly successful year for the club, the Cowboys reflected on their 2016 successes, including celebrating the Cowgirls’ first ever competition win and first ever finals appearance in the team’s short history.

Even though the Men’s team wasn’t as successful on the field as has been in previous years, the club noted that the effort and commitment from the players and coaching staff in trying economic times couldn’t be doubted.

Cowboys President Graham Campbell said it was a fantastic night and everyone enjoyed themselves.

“A highlight of the night was the “player’s probe” video showing everyone’s thoughts for the year with some pretty funny responses,” Campbell said.

“Everyone enjoyed the night and stayed till the end…watch out 2017 for the Cowboys and Cowgirls!”
