Central Highlands Rep Team Announcement

The Central Highlands Rugby League has announced the playing squads for both the Under 20’s and A-Grade Divisions to represent the Central Highlands at the 47th Battalion Rugby League Carnival.

The carnival, to be played in Gladstone on Saturday, May 10 and Sunday, May 11, will include teams from Rockhampton, Gladstone, Wide Bay, Bundaberg, Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba, as well as the Central Highlands.

The squad is one of the strongest the region has sent to the carnival and surely hopes to deliver some long awaited success for the region.

Below are the listed squads for both the Under 20’s and A-Grade Divisions.

Under 20s: 

Coach: Kurt Sullivan

Emerald Tigers: Isaiah Huet, Sebastien Stiegler, Josh Johnston, Koby Scott

Emerald Cowboys: Willem Kehl, Jordan Milburn, Kieren Pratt, Corey Baumann, Max Harvey, Jason King, Ben Kerswell

Blackwater Crushers: Ronald Francis, Shae Cox, Cody King, Branden Ferguson, Ryan Palmer

Clermont Bears: Jack Britt, Astin Nunan

Springsure M/Men: Mitchell Donohoe, Benjamin Kerl

A-Grade:

Coaches: Steven Bell and RJ Stewart

Emerald Tigers: Ray Ebsworth, Brendan O’Neill, Gavin Power, Joshua Binnie, Brendon Kelly, Darcy Darby, Matthew Langby, Griffin Freeman

Clermont Bears: Clayton Reynolds, Sean Haufe, Blake Crannage, Logan Sullivan, Nicholas Deaves, Brendon Finger, Allan Shannon

Emreald Cowboys: Alastair Gall

Bluff Rabbitohs: Mitchell Wyatte, Mitchell Power, Christopher Conway

Springsure M/Men: Christopher Kerle

Two Central Highlands Ladies players, Elle Stitt (Clermont Bears Ladies) and Casey Watkins (Emerald Tigers Ladies), will also play at the carnival in the CQ Capras Women’s side after being selected at the recent trials.
