The most significant change to the National On Field Policy for ‘community Rugby League’ is the introduction of the League First Aid Qualification.  This qualification is specific to on field trainers in the 6-15 age groups.

A direct link to this qualification is provided below.

Please note that the advertised qualification is for completion of the full course and assumes the person has no other relevant first aid qualification.  In most cases it is likely that those completing the League First Aid Course will already have either a First Aid Certificate or other medical qualification.  In these cases individuals should apply for RPL.

By way of example, a person with a current (nationally recognised) First Aid Qualification will only be required to:

  • Attend 3 hours of face to face training at their club (there are no additional requirements of online training)
  • Pay $30

That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
