NSW u16 Trials: Mohammed Kabbout & Hakaraia Toi Toi

Bulldogs OLD

Congratulations to both Mohammed Kabbout and Hakaraia Toi Toi for their selections in the NSW u16 Possibles v Probables trial - the final step to NSW u16 State of Origin selection.

Mohammed Kabbout only took up Rugby League two years ago where he joined the Greenacre Tigers club. In a short space of time he has achieved selection for the Lebanon u16 side as a 15-year-old winning their Player of the Tournament award and was a stand out player in the Bulldogs affiliated SWSAS squad displaying leadership qualities beyond his experience in the game. His selection for the NSW trial is most deserving and reflective of his great attitude and willingness to learn.

Hakaraia Toi Toi came to the Bulldogs this season looking for an opportunity to play in the centres and performed strongly in the Bulldogs Harold Matthews squad. He now attends Bankstown based Bass High School and his football has progressed significantly since becoming a part of the Bulldogs system.

Good luck to both players in the NSW u16 trial and that selection in the NSW side awaits them when they take on Queensland in the annual u16 interstate match prior to the 1st Harvey Norman State of Origin match on Wednesday 23 May 2012.
