Statement from Balmain Tigers Chairman Leslie Glen

Statement from Chairman Leslie Glen on behalf of the Balmain Tigers RLFC Board.

Such tragic news affects all of us within the Balmain Junior League community, particularly the Dundas Shamrocks Club. It is a shock which reverberates inside a larger family of people of all ages bound by common interests in sport, youth development & friendship.

Watching kids grow & mature over the years is fulfilling & important on both a personal & social level, particularly if we feel we have made some contribution, however small, to their betterment.

We all share in this loss of both Jack & Adam Langford & offer our sympathy & support to those directly affected, Peter, Bryce, Beth & Henry, by this terrible event.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
