2016 NRL Development Camp - Currimundi

Over the Easter school holidays NRL Development is hosting a Camp for children aged 9 to 14 at Currimundi Recreational Camp. Over 90 children are enjoying Rugby League activities as well as Surfing and High ropes.

Children have travelled from Barcaldine, Injune, Bunaberg, Chinchilla and Roma to name a few. The Camps have been run on the Sunshine Coast for several years and the popularrity has grown every year. NRL Development officer Glen Dreger said " The kids really enjoy themselves and it great to see kids come together from all over to enjoy the skills and drills as well as the extra activities on offer."

The children run through skills and drills as well as playing a modified version of Rugby League. These games are hotly contested with children really enjoying them. Surfing lessons certainly have been enjoyed by all the children with some really taking to it and show ing their balance.
