Titan's Secondary Schools Girls Day - Toowoomba

NRL Development is pleased to announce that we will now be holding the school girl’s Development Day previously planned for Term 2 on Thursday, August 6 during Term 3. This date was decided upon consultation with schools and taking into account everyone’s extremely congested schedules.

We are looking to make this a HUGE day and an annual event for school girls of the area. The Development Day is designed to give girls with little to no experience all the essential training necessary for them to participate in Rugby League. At the same time we will also be catering for the more experienced girls and providing them with advanced training and non-competitive games to further enhance their Rugby League skills and have some fun participating in our game without the pressure of competition. The day is designed to cater for all skill levels and age groups and girls will be placed accordingly into groups taking all of that into consideration by experienced NRL Development staff.

After this Development Day we will then be holding a Titan’s Secondary Schools girl’s competition day in Term 4 with the overall aim being that all schools and students can enter the competition day with the added experience, skills and confidence to play competitive games. We hope to make both days big annual Rugby League events for school girls of our region.

Please find attached all the information for the day. We would greatly appreciate your support in providing school girls from Toowoomba and our region the opportunity to learn and participate in our game.
