Changes to Modified Games Laws

The National Rugby League has partnered with the State Leagues across the country to rollout a series of exciting new changes to our Modified Games program in 2015.

We hope that for participants between the Under 6 to Under 12 age groups, the changes will foster an increase in enjoyment, active involvement and skill development.

These changes result from the Rugby League Modified Games Review, which undertook a comprehensive process of research, looked into best practice in sport, initiated consultation with grassroots stakeholders, and conducted trial games under modified rules across Queensland, NSW, and Victoria.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
