MEDIA RELEASE: Talent juniors aim for NRL

The 2015 North Sydney Bears Development Squads have been announced identifying the best junior rugby league talent in the region who could, one day, go all the way to the Telstra NRL Premiership or even play State of Origin.

Selection in these Development Squads is the typical pathway from the community football junior grades to the Junior Representative competitions and, eventually, professional grade rugby league in the NSW Cup or Telstra NRL Premiership.

Former North Sydney Bears Junior Development Squad members include former NSW State of Origin player (and current General Manager of the Bears), Greg Florimo, as well as the current NSW State of Origin halfback, Mitchell Pearce.

The teams will play a series of games against teams from three other districts – the Balmain Tigers, Manly Sea Eagles and Sydney Roosters.
