Fiji Open Chess Championships Saturday

Chess-playing Primary, Secondary and Tertiary students will compete for awards in various categories in the Courts Fiji Open Chess Championships on 21 September in Suva. In the Elite Division, In-form Candidate Master (CM) Calvin Prasad will face other CMs for a stiff challenge. Local tournament participation applies to a merit based system which enables promotion to Intermediate and Elite status.
