Table Tennis standard has increased!

Patrick Gillmann is the Chef de mission and also the President of Oceania Table Tennis Federation.  His team consists of 5 girls, 5 boys and 2 coaches.   The ages of the athletes range from 11 years to 21 years.  Patrick Gillmann is seeing the standard of table tennis increase and believes that it is due to the development officer, Scott Houston, visiting the pacific to develop skills in table tennis.   Since the Apia Games you can see the skills in Tonga, Cook Islands, Solomon Islands and other Islands has increased tremendously, now all we have to do is wait and see who is the best.   The opening ceremony was amazing and Piri Purutou lighting the fire was a highlight, even though it took long but when the fire came, it was excellent.   The venue at the Edgewater is very good and the team is staying at St Joseph School.   This country is a beautiful country and a good place for tourists to come to.
