Table tennis representative from Solomon Islands

Lindra Ta’ake was tired but pleased to have arrived safely on Rarotonga so that she can participate as a member of the Solomon Islands table tennis team.
Lindra took part in the welcoming ceremony along with her team mates who had had very little sleep over the previous 24 hours.
This is her first time on Rarotonga and although the locals were sweltering in the high morning temperature Lindra and other members of their team said they appreciated the weather here, because it was hotter in the Solomons.
The table tennis competition  starts on Tuesday and continues over 9 days. There are three boys and three girls in the Solomons team and they all come from Honiara.
