VIDEO: Tuvalu's North West Experience

By Matt Bowcott of The Reporters' Academy

The athletes from Team Tuvalu have all competed at the London 2012 Olympic Games, prior to the games, two members of Team Tuvalu based themselves in the North West of England to train and prepare ahead of the games.

Now the competition has come to an end, they reflect on how much training in the NorthWest assisted them to becoming Olympians. As well as team Tuvalu, we also spoke to President of ONOC, Dr Robin Mitchell about the success of the training camps.

This was produced by Matt of The Reporters' Academy, a media production company run by young people, tasked with the mission of telling the stories of Oceania's London 2012 journey. The Reporters' Academy is integrated into the world of media, education and employment, based in two great sporting cities, Manchester and Melbourne, and is officially Inspired by London 2012.
