Kunro is one of those athletes who makes Vanuatu proud. He is the first pure product Ni Vanuatu to sign a contract with a French club. He really has great talent and not only is he an athlete but he's also quite skilled with the ball.

In September 2007 Kunro knew his first selection as captain for the National Under 15 Rugby Union Team at a international 7s Tournament in New Caledonia. Only one year later he was selected with the Under 20 national team for a tournament in Fiji.

In 2010 he is gone to play with the "Island Breeze 7s" in Australia, he played with them several international events (including in Australia and Fiji).

In 2012 his career is experiencing a new turn when he was the first local Ni Vanuatu to play the first ever International tournament for a Vanuatu team in Australia. Then, he played in October of that year an international match against Greece at home in Port Vila. Just after its game, he was recruited by the Cowboys (NRL) to play for their Under 20 Team. Athletically, he matched up against any man in the Cowboys under-20 squad, but he was a long-term prospect after growing up playing rugby sevens.

So after this period as rugby league player Kunro Kalo received an invitation to play for  Westfield Rugby Club a top 7s team in Fiji, he wan there the famous Marist 7st tournament. His name grew up in Fiji, and the 5th September 2013 Kunro was selected to play with the Fiji Warriors or international 7s tournament again team like USA, France and Argentina.

In May this year, he heard that a professional club in France Auch who played in 2nd professional division was interested to him, and after achieve paperwork he left the country yesterday afternoon in order to learn more and become a professional rugby player.
