Olympic Day Run 2012
On Saturday, June 30th, 2012 SASNOC will be hosting an Olympic Day Fun Run to celebrate International Olympic Day, the anniversary of the modern Olympic movement. The event will double as a departure celebration for your Samoan Olympic Team who will be attending the London 2012 Olympics this July. Come join us and par-take in this year's theme of "Move, Learn, Discover." Breakfast will be served after the run and Olympic Day Run shirts will be available as prizes.
Move: You can run 3km or 5km, depending on how fit you feel.
Learn: Come learn about the London 2012 Olympics and see what it's all about. Meet members from your BlueSky Team Samoa and learn how they became champions in themselves.
Discover: Come discover new Olympic and non-Olympic Sports. Give them a try, or watch a demonstration. Who knows - you might be Samoa's next future Olympian.
Where: Samoa Tourism Authority Fale (outside Govn't Buildings in Apia)
When: Saturday, 30th June 2012
Time: 7:30am - 12:00pm
This celebration wouldn't be possible without our proud sponsor of McDonald's. Thank you McDonald's!
