November 29/30 - The third FSM YEPOV seminar was held in Chuuk State.  Instructor Lestly Ashby held a two-day workshop with secondary school students (15-18 years old).  The first two seminars took place in Pohnpei last January and in Yap last April.

The workshop covered topics on the background of the Olympic movement, explanation of Olympic values, practical exercises on Olympic values, and creation of Olympic values.  Students left as peer educators with the task of sharing Olympic values with their families, friends, and classmates, and to find other ways of incorporating Olympic values not only into sport, but daily life at school and home.

Instructor Ashby will be travelling to Kosrae to hold a YEPOV seminar in the second week of December 2010.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
