Cook Islands are Welcomed to the Olympics

Team Cook Islands 22 member strong was welcomed today by the Village Mayor. Prior to the ceremony the team was caught up in photo taking, more focus towards the women of the team who were sepectacular with their head eis, the colour was a bonus.

Also this day was significant to the members of the team, as the 4th August represented the 51st celebration of Cook Islands Self Governing, back in Rarotonga was a public holiday, where celebrations are under way.

Team Cook Islands heads off to the Commonwealth Youth Games which will be hosted by Bahamas, 17th - 23rd July 2017.

 

Oceania Handball Tournament to be hosted in the Cook Islands from the 31st July - 5th August 2017

 

Oceania Rugby - Cook Islands vs Tahiti here in Rarotonga on the 4th August 2017, which will be played at the BC Stadium.
