New Caldonia brought in Mike Calmes to pitch in the second inning, who pitched beautifully for the rest of the game.  Fiji never reached third base again.  The fourth inning eruption by New Caldonia was highlighted with a shot to left centerfield by Brieu Mallet on a 3-run triple, who also scored on the play after an overthrow.
