Final:

Details of where medals deducted are in the Comment Section.

Note:

A Medal Tally as such is an unofficial document, produced for the interest of the media. It does not officially order teams and there is no such thing as a 'winner' of the Games.

The SPG Charter in fact only awards a gold medal for events in which there are three competitors and only Gold and Silver for events with four competitors. Judo and Boxing are exceptions in that Gold and Silver are awarded when there are three competitors and 2 Bronze awarded to losing semi finalists when there are a minimum of 5 competitors.

The SPG Council has deliberated on this and the above Tally has been adjusted accordingly from what initially appeared after the Games.

In the interest of getting it right, queries are welcome by e-mail to brian@onoc.org.fj
following detailed Audit in accordance with Games Charter and following adjustment after medals lost through the failing of drug tests.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand. So play fair and have fun, and thanks for your contribution.
