Samoa, Australia weightlifters tipped for top spots
SAMOA and Australia will be top contenders at the 2016 Oceania Weightlifting Championships next week says co-chair of OCW organising committee Atma Maharaj.
Atma said the two countries are running "neck and neck" to be the top finishers in both the men's and women's divisions.
Top competitors like Samoa's Mary Opeloge, the Commonwealth Champion in 2013 and 2015 and her brother Petune Opeloge along with Australia's 2010 Commonwealth Games Gold Medallist Damon Kelly will be top contenders to win first and second places in their respective categories.
The OCW will be held from May 24-28 at the Vodafone Arena.
