RAMSI officer to assist rugby league

A RAMSI officer has been identified to assist establish rugby league on voluntary
basis. He had a very brief meeting with the Chairman of Solomon Islands Rugby
League on Thursday, 1st April. The meeting established mutual understanding between
the two parties. The first task is to source out RAMSI officers with rugby league
knowledge to help conduct development courses. The development courses are
specifically for club's representatives and teachers. The Honiara League and Junior
competitions are scheduled for June this year.
