Unexpected event just created in between Taiwan Cup tournament, on Thursday 27th October NBDO was running the veteranz 3X3 basketball tournament for men gathering old stars from previous basketball careers since from 1970's who were strongly highlighting their first engagement with basketball. There were 8 teams registered onto the eventmaker while during that day there were only 4 teams arrived on time and two teams game late. NBDO just make the four team an official game starting at 5pm. NBDO just supervising the game and leave everything with H4H coaches who have been told to work on their role as score keepers and referees. Entering results just was also entered that day onto eventmaker by NBDO and to ensure that everything was in process properly.

Prior to the game start, NBDO emailling all teams from veteranz with schedule for Thursday game. All teams from veteranz were happy and sweting to compete with other teams. Conversation through emails was going strong with jokes come out from other teams making other teams nervous and competetive. When the game comes there were spectators, parents, wifes watching the game that night cheering their husband and fans.

Round robins runs that day hitting 3 games per team and afterward decision making confirmed that playoffs and finals will be running at Taiwan cup on Saturday 29th Oct. Each teams were agreed together with organzers and the game closed and informed team to be in Betio sport complex at 11:00 in the morning on Saturday.

Semi's

According to the ranking point process by eventmaker, Bairiki 1 was came #1, TUBA was in second place, MTC was in third and Bairiki 2 was fourth. The first game was for Bairiki 1 playing against Bairiki 2 #4. The game went very tight fortunately Bairiki 1 makes 3 points lead against Bairiki 2 within the last 3 second. The game between TUBA and MTC were strongly aggresive and also unexpected tie score in the last 5 second. Mr Kautu from TUBA team attemp the last 3 point shot successfully go in the net. Scores last 11 by 11. The game start again within 1 minutes to break the tie, luckily TUBA scored 2 points lead where the referee and scoretable confirm winning team.

Finals

Third place was first start between MTC and Bairiki 2. Winner goes to Bairiki 2 beating MTC. The last day hipop day playing with music with top sound selection to make players strong that day.

TUBA and Bairiki 1 playing strongly trying to win the 100.00 cash for that day. Unexpected point lead by Bwere scored within the last 4 second to break tie score of 12 by 12. Bwere just did the jap and then cross over his oppenent, fake and power shot. Finally he made it making his team very happy running to give him hi five cause they know they will get the 100.00 cash that day. Afterward he just show up a little pop 5 second shouting they are the veteranz champ for Taiwan cup.

Equipment

KBF and NBDO were proudly providing basketballs, table, chairs, scoresheet, whistles and bibs in different colours.

3X3 Plan a head (Nov - Dec)

NBDO and KBF will be organizing more 3X3 events within two months period and they will include veteranz for women to play as well. It's will planned that both men and women will be running the same time in order for them grow their level and helping these people working on their physical activities monthly or weekly. Also to help reduce the risk of NCD's.
