Taotin Trading Basketball Championship

For overall, finally on behalf of the official sponsor Mr George Tiarite was given a strong word encouraging each of teams were participated that day and declared that the competition was officially opened. Mr George has a passion in basketball and also one of the best players in one of the strong team known as Pioneer. On behalf of the company this time George was given this moment a great supprt to the federation in sponsoring this championship to assist fulfil teams goal.

After the formal parts, NBDo and KBF run the shootout competition such as 3 points were all players and together with the sponsor involves as well were he first opened the game. There over than 60 players registered and pay their fees of $2.00 per person to win the 30.00 cash that day. The game was been running in accordance with a knockout format eliminating top two shooters to win. The KBF and volunteers set 5 spot/statins along the 3 point area were all competitors trying to get 3 points scored in one spot. finally, the game was successfully ended with the two last sharpshooters Mr Otia Viane swing players and shooter as well from TUBA team defeating Mr Raimon best shooter from SAINTS team 12 by 8 points. In completion of the game KBF was formaly awarding the winner that day and followed with announcement for the next game.

In this championship, KBF also promote the brand new electronic scoreboard to the teams and the sponsor that it will be use along each official leagues. While Hoops for Health program first implemented in Kiribati, as part of this program to develop and iimprove basketball within the country the Kiribati Basketball Federation received adequate equipment ordered through PSP subsidies to equipped most of the basketball development program. The brand new and portable electronic scoreboard is one of the best tool used right now and in further competition.
