Bairiki community visit

On Friday 9/11 5pm, NBDO and H4H coaches continuing working with Bairiki community at Bairiki basketball court. For overall, the aim of this program is to promote heathly life styles to young ages and adults. Basketball coaching and followed with 3x3 game are the tools as to increase number of people played for their health and the same time compete. There were 90 people participated in this program on the first day visit including 35 U12 boys, 28 girls, 16 High school men, 12 men and 8 women.

While before the visit take place this community has been informed by the embasdor after the meeting udertaken two weeks ago at KNOC office.  Tamwe tasked to gather local people and young kids from this community and also forming up sub committees in this village before the visit start. NBDO and H4H coaches promoting health and run few basketball fun games, drills to used when they run coaching and playing 3X3 game at the end of the session. Afterwards NBDO gives a few words thanking the leader and for all for being on time and leave equipments such as 10 basketballs (4 size 7, 6 size 5) for them to continue the program. At this stage H4H coaches has been tasked to work closely with them as part of their role depend with their schedule. NBDO gives a good example given them at least everyday practice, 3 days per week or 2 days a week.

The next move will be at Eita community, Bikenibeu community, Bonriki and Nawerewere community.
